Delicious neighbourhood dining at Alizé Restaurant
Sunday, July 6, 2008
A favourite neighbourhood dining destination, Alizé Restaurant is a Franco-Italian bistro with inspired menu items of new creations and old classics. The atmosphere is intimate; the service—warm and friendly. Reasonable prices and generous portions make this local spot a real treat.
Alizé is participating in Summerlicious. For $15, lunch time choices include French onion soup or assorted summer greens to start. Basil gnochhi, fricasse of seafood, grilled pork tenderloin medallion, or cajun chicken for mains. For dessert choose between Alizé’s famous tiramisu or peach melba.
Dinner is $25, and choices include chilled carrot and honey bisque, or salad to start. Mains of ravioli famosi—filled with spinach, ricotta and masqcarpone, cajun chicken, grilled beef tenderloin with three beans compute, or fish provençale—pan-fried fillet of ocean perch. Desserts are lemon crumble cake or raspberry sorbet.
Summerlicious at Alizé runs from July 4 - August 31. In June, visit for their Lobster Festival. See their website for more events.
