Coco & Jules brings Notting Hill Gate boutique to Toronto
Tuesday, November 24, 2009 Newly opened jewellery and accessories shop, Coco & Jules, brings the vintage feel of a Notting Hill boutique to Toronto. Owner Diana Howson lived in London on and off for ten years, and wanted to bring a bit of what she was leaving behind with her when she moved back to Toronto this past year. Customers are loving her offerings, saying they can’t believe the selection of fabulous items—including many European looks not found elsewhere.
Fantastic for the holiday season are silk shawls. Twisted and hand-beaded, they are available in a painter’s palette of colours, making them the perfect wrap for over top your holiday party outfits.
More great finds include vintage leather belts and bags, bags, bags—everything from clutch purses to hold-everything day bags and overnight bags.
Coco also features many Canadian designers, including up and coming Toronto jewellery designer Eden Phillippa (see red bracelets shown at left). Her work is simple, delicate and eclectic, often with a creative nod to her Jewish roots.
