Gourmet tasting menu every Monday night at The Monk’s Table
Tuesday, November 24, 2009
Every Monday night The Monk’s Table has a five-course tasting menu. All the food served here is English, and everything is made from scratch on the premises.
Courses are paired with their unique beer selections. The Monk’s Table specializes in bringing hard-to-find and unique imported beers to their restaurant. They were the first restaurant in Canada to have Hobgoblin Ale, an English beer, available on their menu, and are also the only one to have Gales Bitter. A new arrival is La Trappe Quadruple, a Dutch Trappe beer.
These evenings are very popular. Reservations are required, and spaces fill up in advance. They also have a tasting menu on New Year’s Eve, with two seatings.
In addition, The Monk’s Table has gift certificates. Stop by or call for further details.
