The art of Roberts Gallery

From new-to-experienced collectors, Roberts Gallery has something for every art lover—and artwork to suit every budget. Roberts, Toronto’s oldest private gallery, specializes in Canadian artists—including the Group of Seven and their contemporaries. Discover new talent and rediscover old favourites at regular exhibitions of emerging and established artists. Roberts is also interested in purchasing artwork.

Beginning June 9th, and running until June 25th, is their 16th annual ‘Sketches Exhibition’ of important historical Canadian art, featuring many of the Group of Seven and their contemporaries.

The term “sketches” is used to describe artwork produced on-the-spot by artists. This year’s exhibit will showcase Albert Franck’s Toronto street scenes, Tom Roberts’ distinctive landscapes and various works on paper from the 19th and 20th centuries.

Begin your collection or add to your existing collection with a visit to Roberts. Open Tues. to Sat., 10 am–5 pm. See website for more details.
