The gem world meets in Tucson every winter for two intense weeks of gem trading. Tamara Kronis, one of the owners of Studio1098, went down to this year’s show and combed through the merchandise at more than 40 sites around Tucson, to find the most interesting and unique gemstones for Studio1098.
Tamara just got back, and they’ve got some fabulous new gems and pearls to show you!
Studio1098 makes custom fine jewellery, including engagement rings and other significant pieces. They make all of their jewellery right here in Toronto, so anything is possible in terms of design, materials and gems.
If you have jewellery you don’t wear lying around a safe deposit box or drawer, they can help you restyle it into something you will love. Old gold can be used as a credit against Studio1098 projects and merchandise. They also do repairs and restringing.
