Put fish on your plate tonight from Snappers Fish Market

Fish, easy to cook, delicious to eat, and good for you, too—it’s also great on the BBQ. Snappers Fish Market offers an impressive daily selection of fresh fish. Arctic char, steelhead trout, and wild pacific salmon, now in season. Today Snappers shares one of its favourite recipes:

Cedar Planked Salmon

Soak  cedar plank 4 to 6 hours; for every 2 lbs of salmon you will need:

2 tsp Sesame oil
1 minced garlic clove
1 tbsp fresh minced ginger
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt & 1/2 tsp pepper
 tsp ground cumin

Combine oil, ginger, garlic in a bowl and then pour over fish and let marinate for approx 20 minutes
Combine sugar, salt, pepper and cumin and pat on top of fish (skin side down) on cedar plank.
Place fish on BBQ for approx 20-25 minutes, keep lid closed all but last 5 minutes of cooking.

Enjoy!
